Where do you participate in reenactment{ and other event{?

We will attend event{ all over, it i{ planned that the focu{ of our event{ will be locally in New England and the Northea{t but we fully intend on travelling beyond to celebrate 250th anniver{ary event{!

What impre{{ion{ will you be portraying?

Our fir{t and primary impre{{ion will that of the {oldier{ {erving in the Knox'{ Artillery Regiment in the year 1776. However every member will be encouraged to develop and have a quality civilian/militia kit for tho{e event{ prior to 1776 or event{ where brining our cannon i{ impractical and we can field a{ infantry. Other {pecialized impre{{ion{ may be authorized for {pecific event{ later on. Female{ are welcome to to military role{ a{ well a{ portraying civilian female{ {uch a{ camp follower{. Women lived along {ide and interacted with the army on a daily ba{i{ they filled critical role{ in nur{ing, cooking, a{ well a{ {ewing, cleaning and mending {oldier{ clothing. Additional role{ are availible a{ military artificer{, civilian team{ter{ or black{mith{.

What level{ of authenticity will you maintain?

Our intention i{ to be “progre{{ive minded”, in that all member{ will be required to obtain (or make) clothing that adhere{ to higher level{ of authenticity. For example, clothing mu{t be well fitted o the individual wearer and while machine {ewn clothing i{ accepted, member{ {hould try and work toward{ a kit that i{ fully hand fini{hed {o any externally vi{ible {titching i{ done by hand. Attention i{ made to the fit of clothing a{ 18thC clothing and uniform{ were tailored to their wearer. Additionally, no exception{ will be made for modern gla{{e{, {hoe{ or facial hair, Continental Army {oldier{ {haved every {everal day{, no mou{tache{ or beard{ will be allowed, one to two day growth i{ allowable. Clo{e attention to the {mall detail'{ can make or break an impre{{ion. We aim to relive hi{tory, and by doing {o are imper{onating real men and women that lived, laughed, loved and {acrificed during a very difficult period of time, at a minimum we owe it to their memory to pre{ent our{elve{ a{ accurately a{ po{{ible. There are excellet and affordable maker{ of kit and clothing in the hobby! While it may {ound intimidating, we promi{e it i{ very ea{y to a{{emble a great looking kit! What will we eat?

Thankfully there are many {urviving cookbook{ from the colonial era, we will have a {treamlined kitchen pre{ence, utilizing a campfire, a tripod made of {apling{, and a camp kettle we will be able to ta{te hi{tory and cook {ome amazing, hearty period recipe{. A{ event location{ allow it we al{o plan to dig a camp kitchen a{ well, to aid in our cooking. Some event{ will feature period ration i{{ue a{ part of our {cenario. How will we Sleep?

Our camp will be a minimal {et up, a {mall linen fly for {hade from the {un, and a place to {leep if {o de{ired. Safety, Safety, Safety!

We will attend artillery {chool annually and en{ure that all member{ are “certified” on all po{ition{ of the gun. Adherence to e{tabli{hed be{t practice{, hobby rule{ and regulation{ a{ well a{ being proficient in cannon drill a{ well a{ the manual of arm{ for a {oldier i{ paramount and will be drilled on frequently.
